Julia O’Grady, ITM Events
Julia O’Grady has big vision, fresh ideas and a proven track record in the events industry. She and her team work hard to exceed client expectations and push ITM Events to achieve greater heights. A driven entrepreneur, Julia also manages the business side of ITM Events including human resources, finances, marketing and writing grant and sales proposals.
To complement her 10 years of experience in the events industry, Julia brings significant expertise gained by working as a senior analyst for the Canadian federal government. In her work as Assistant Director in the public service, Julia managed teams of up to 20 people, ensuring that projects were completed on time and according to specification. Often dealing directly with the Minister’s office, Julia’s position required significant responsibility and accountability.
Julia’s specialized skills give her a unique advantage in the events industry. She can read, interpret and apply legislation, which is useful in planning events where municipal and other regulations and policies come into play. She is adept at managing competing priorities and maintaining high performance while working within rigorous and legislated timelines. Rational and detail-oriented, Julia implements decisions and policies that ensure the seamless production of every event she manages.
In taking a high level approach to event management, Julia is able to visualize a project from inception to successful execution. She attracts valuable sponsors by offering meaningful opportunities to engage with participants. Julia uses her keen analytical mind to create incredible events that maximize the available budget.
Angela Chorney, Dots & Crosses Event Management
Angela Chorney was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada, and has resided in beautiful Victoria, BC for the past 12 years. She began volunteering on event planning committees in 2012 and has gained valuable experience working with local and national non-profit organizations. Angela recently launched her own entrepreneurial event planning business, Dots & Crosses Event Management. She is looking forward to growing her business, continuing to work with churches and other non-profit groups, as well as the comic book and gaming convention demographic.
Tania Fesenko, TDEvents Solutions
Tania Fesenko is Marketing, Event and Tradeshow Management professional with 8+ years of professional event planning and project management experience. She holds Master’s Degree in Communication and Broadcasting as well as post-graduate Event Management Certificate, with honours.
Her main responsibilities are focused on increasing company’s ROI and ROO, brand awareness and leads generation as well as planning and execution different types of events and projects with up to 2000 attendees.
Tania enjoys public speaking and follows latest technology innovations.
Rita Molinari, RM Consulting
Rita Molinari is a Certified Meeting Professional with 20+ years of experience bringing people together to form successful business partnerships.
Rita helps decision-makers fill their events, conferences and business dinners with the right prospects, sponsors and members; she’s a skilled communicator, negotiator and events professional but her clients keep coming back because she’s their match-maker for business partnerships. And for the double-digit growth results she’s known for.
