My name is Jeff Chabot, I’m here Association Coordinator here at CanSPEP. Acting as a bit of go-between for our service provider for membership-based software, I must report they are experiencing a bit of an outage.
Woah… You’re saying issues with technology… UNHEARD OF!
Now I know, technology should be flawless, but from time to time these things are a little out of our control. I won’t bore you with the technical details, other than to say that it is an outage that is completely out of their control. Their support has been amazing at addressing any/all concerns I’ve had and they are working furiously to get this back up.
What does that mean?
Until this software is back online there is an interruption to a number of our features, such as:
- New member applications: EEK! Any requests can be sent to email@example.com for the time being and I will address them on a case by case basis.
- Our events calendar: DO NOT PANIC! *Wipes sweat from forehead* you can still register for CanSPEP day once the event software is back online. Should it not be online by Monday morning, again email or call me at 866-467-2299 and I’ll address everything I can and ensure you get registered.
- Some section on our Members-Only Side: DOH! I just gave that tutorial, and now you may not get to practice some of it!
- Website Slowdown: There may be some slowness issues with the website depending on what pages/content you are trying to access
