#GMIDGoesVirtual

Join #EventProfs from all over the world on April 14, 2020 to virtually celebrate #GMID20 and help us break the Guinness World Record for most participants in an online video conference.

We are thrilled to partner with Meetings Mean Business Canada and #GMIDGoesVirtual to celebrate Global Meetings Industry Day –virtual edition!

Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) was created to be an international forum for advocacy, awareness and celebration for the meetings & events industry.  Each year, event professionals from around the world come together to raise the collective voice of our community.

In 2020, GMID will look very different.

This year, the impacts of the Covid-19 virus have been felt around the world. No event left untouched, we are all reeling from the effects that this global pandemic has had on our events, businesses and industry.

Many organizations have had to cancel their GMID festivities and the day of celebration has been postponed.

We have partnered with Meetings Mean Business Canada to change the narrative. This year, more than ever, we need to celebrate GMID. We need to celebrate the resiliency, survival, tenacity and perseverance of our industry.

We invite you to join us on April 14, 2020 for a virtual event that will aim to break the world record for most participants in an online video conference.

If anyone can do this, it is the community of #eventprofs who are fighting day in and day out for this important profession.
