CanSPEP has put together an afternoon packed with tips and best practices, from the frontlines and behind the scenes, to ensure that its members, and the events community at-large are prepared for the ever-evolving path to planning a hybrid event, safely and sustainably. The 2021 CanSPEP Annual Conference was a ‘Breakthrough’ Event for CanSPEP and the Events Industry. It was the first Hybrid Conference in Canada for the industry, which required the development of our first duty of care protocols, to allow in-person attendees to gather safely, and was the first CanSPEP Conference with a zero-emissions sustainability goal. We are going to focus in on three key pillars, namely: Planning a Hybrid: How We Did It & What We Learned - discussing top takeaways, advice, amount of work, and more! Duty of Care: The Evolving Door - who to engage, how to research for drafting the protocol, preparing for and lessons learned!
