Raised between Cape Breton and Truro, Donna-Marie’s roots in Atlantic Canada run deep. After studying at Dalhousie University in Halifax, she headed west for an unforgettable experience working at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and Fairmont Château Lake Louise.

Over the past 35+ years, she’s grown through every level of the hospitality industry — beginning in housekeeping, moving into restaurant management, and ultimately advancing into sales leadership. She spent 31 of those years with Delta Hotels and Marriott properties across Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, where she’s proudly called home for the past two decades.

Since joining Meet PEI in 2021, Donna-Marie’s developed an even deeper appreciation for this remarkable Island. She’s passionate about showcasing Prince Edward Island and sharing its distinctive charm, warm hospitality, and memorable experiences with visitors from around the world.

Outside of work, Donna-Marie enjoys life on PEI to the fullest with her family and golden retriever, Mia. When she’s not promoting the Island, you’ll likely find her walking Mia at the beach or tackling a DIY project around the house. And if you ever want a good chuckle, ask her about the time she decided to change out the stairs in her old home.
