My time as President was rather eventful. I was brought in as the first President-Elect and then became President a few months later. I was “fortunate” to be president at the outset of the Covid pandemic. To say it was an experience is an understatement. I was very pleased and humbled by how the whole board at the time came together to help our members weather the storm. So many things changed that year it is hard to remember it all. What stands out was how CanSPEP, the whole community stuck together and helped one another. There will always be changes in CanSPEP, good years and not so much, but what is a constant is the way we all care for one another. Competitors, colleagues, collaborators.
