As my term as President comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on just how far we’ve come — and all that our community has achieved together. Having served through many cycles of leadership, long before anyone had even heard the word “COVID,” this journey has truly been one I’ll cherish forever. From my very first days as a CanSPEP member, I knew this was a special community — one defined by brilliance, passion, and heart — and I’m so proud to have played even a small role in helping it grow and thrive.

My heartfelt thanks to the 2024–2025 Board of Directors for your dedication, creativity, and collaboration — always challenging one another to build on our success and strengthen our community.

And a very special thank you to Tracy Blyth, whose remarkable leadership, care, and commitment to managing the unique complexities of an association of entrepreneurial event professionals continues to elevate CanSPEP’s presence and profile across the industry. It has been an honour to serve alongside all of you.
